Medicine Lake
is a 30-minute scenic drive from Winema Lodge. You may see black bears,
deer, and a variety of wildlife on your drive to this pristine lake
surrounded by a pine forest.

| There is water skiing, camping (with no
hookups), hiking, canoeing, birding, bicycling, kayaking, and fishing.
Winter sports include snowmobiling, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing.
Bring your own boat and food, fishing tackle and worms.. A sandy beach is roped off for swimming and sun
bathing. Even the kids can limit out on fresh lake trout. Look up and you'll
see several pair of osprey and bald eagles, and resident ducks, deer and an
occasional bear pass through. |
